Netflix: Hershele

An educated European immigrant to Israel (Mike Burstyn) teaches local, less privileged neighbor children how to play the violin. His lessons catch fire, and when the kids begin to display real talent, the neighborhood works to form an orchestra. Burstyn won the Israeli equivalent of the Best Actor Academy Award for his affecting performance about the power of music to transform young lives. Joel Silberg directs. [From Netflix: Hershele]
